The initiative for the reform of the Statute corresponds:
a) to the Rector or rector. b) to the Governing Council. c) to one quarter, at least, of those who integrate University cloister.
Article 216. Processing
The proposed reform will require the presentation of an articulated text duly informed.
The reform proposal will be forwarded to the President or Chairman of the University Faculty, who transferred it to the table the same for processing. The proposal will be forwarded to the Senate, and will be agreed within not less than ten days not more than thirty they propose amendments they deem relevant. The amendments received within the deadline will be forwarded to the Senate along with the corresponding call for the University cloister.
From the date of the presentation of the proposed reform to the call of the University cloister, may not pass a period exceeding sixty school days.
Article 217. Approval
The approval by the University cloister of the proposed reform of the statute requires the vote of an absolute majority in first ballot, or two thirds of the Senate present at second, provided that the number of these is equal to or greater than half of members of the University Faculty.
Rejected a proposed modification, this not may be repeated up past one year since his vote.
Article 218. Entry into force
The amendments to the Statute approved by the University Faculty will be subject to the approval of the Consell de la Generalitat.
